Functional bioactives

Precision Fermented
Mushrooms.

Lion's Mane and Reishi bioactives produced through submerged-culture fermentation — consistent β-glucans, triterpenes, and neurotrophic polysaccharides. Flavor-neutral, fully soluble, clinical-grade.

What it is

Mycelium,
not mushrooms.

"Grown in bioreactors under clean, controlled conditions — no grain substrates, no soil, no variability."

Our precision-fermented mushroom bioactives are derived from mycelium grown in submerged liquid culture — not from traditional fruiting bodies or solid-state grain-based mycelium. The process captures both biomass and the extracellular broth, delivering the full spectrum of intracellular and secreted bioactives that solid-state methods often lose. Unlike grain-grown mycelium, there are no filler residues, and batch-to-batch consistency is engineered, not cultivated. Independent audits of commercial fruiting-body Lion's Mane products have found β-glucan content ranging from 17% to 93% in the same species — our submerged-culture process eliminates that variability.

01 · Species

Two functional
mushrooms.

"Each with a standardized bioactive profile — not a marker-by-marker chase."

Neurotrophic

Lion's Mane

Hericium erinaceus

~20% β-glucans plus the broad spectrum of NGF-stimulating polysaccharides, triterpenes (including erinacine A), phenolic compounds, and secondary metabolites tied to cognitive and neurotrophic benefit.

  • Standardized β-glucans ~20%
  • NGF-stimulating polysaccharides
  • Erinacine A + triterpenes
Immunomodulatory

Reishi

Ganoderma lucidum

~30% β-glucans paired with ganoderic acids, total polysaccharides, and a rich profile of adaptogenic and immunomodulatory compounds. Proprietary clinical trials support preliminary immune, stress-resilience, and antioxidant use cases.

  • Standardized β-glucans ~30%
  • Ganoderic acids (triterpenes)
  • Immunomodulatory polysaccharides
02 · Why precision fermentation

Consistency.

"Submerged culture removes the variables that make mushroom sourcing painful."

  1. 01
    Clean inputs

No grain substrate, no soil, no post-harvest drying variability. Clean media, controlled environment.

  2. 02
    Submerged fermentation

Continuous bioreactor growth captures both biomass and extracellular broth — secreted bioactives included.

  3. 03
    Metabolomic verification

Standardized markers beyond β-glucans: polysaccharides, triterpenes, phenolics confirmed batch-to-batch.

  4. 04
    Downstream & dry

Filtered, concentrated, and spray-dried to a flavor-neutral, fully soluble powder.

03 · Applications

Where it fits.

Flavor-neutral and fully soluble means no earthy off-notes, no haze, no sensory trade-off. Formulate without hiding the ingredient.

Functional beverages

Nootropic drinks, adaptogen RTDs, cognitive and recovery waters.

Coffee & creamers

Clean-label creamers, instant coffee, mushroom-coffee blends — fully soluble in hot water.

Supplements

Capsules, gummies, powders, sachets — standardized dosing per unit.

Functional snacks

Protein bars, energy bites, cognitive chocolate — no earthy taste to mask.

Clean-label foods

Soups, broths, pasta sauces — adaptogen positioning without obvious mushroom flavor.

Custom formulation

Our partner formulators can simulate dose, cost, and sensory constraints to recommend optimal inclusion rates.
